Originally known as Audio Scriptures International, is a ministry that makes solar- and battery-powered audio Bibles—produced in durable, portable gadgets for over 70 languages—available to nonreaders around the world. Almost all of these are available for anyone to hear just by clicking on the “Listen” tab of their website. Anyone working with immigrants who don’t yet have a full grasp of the language of their new home can direct them to the site if they would like to hear Scripture in their native tongue. You could also listen to the Bible in your own language or brush up on a second or third, if you so desire.
