Cody Carnes offers his first live project, God is Good!, recorded during a two-evening worship gathering at the Belong Co. in Nashville, Tenn. It features an inviting mix of ballads and upbeat selections centering on who God is. “Good to be Loved,” showcases guest artist Natalie Grant’s talents in a spirited way. Listeners may sing along and tap their toes to the radio single, “Ain’t Nobody.” The chorus states: “Ain’t nobody loves me like Jesus; Ain’t nobody love this good; Ain’t nobody love me like Jesus; And I know I know; Nobody could.” 

On the softer side, Carnes is joined by his wife, Kari Jobe, on the beautiful “Forever & Amen,” “a song about prayer, which reminds me of the power of the secret place," said Carnes in a release. "One of my favorite Scriptures has become Psalm 116:2 (NLT), ‘Because he bends to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!’ What a powerful picture—God is bending to listen to our prayers. We created this song with new melodies around the Lord’s Prayer and extra space to help create an atmosphere for that time of prayer with God.” The record’s lyrics and sound are bold and simple.
